One may be confused about what Motopanfilo means? ‘Moto Panfilo’ means a ‘Motor Yacht’ in Italy. A name is a cast back to glamour 1960s when only nobles and rock stars could afford a new motor yacht. So, it as a new flame to the old name. A 37 m Benetti promises to be an instant classic as it is a combination of modern-retro looks with ultra-modern technological solutions. Benetti called designer Francesco Struglia to create Motopanfilo profile while Rome-based Lazzarini Pickering Architetti was in charge of the interior. Hull #01 will be ready in 2021 and will be yet another success with Benetti, who proves to create a design that applies to many.
A new 37 Motopanfilo has a rounded canoe stern with big swim platform which is great in the following sea and also because a Motopanfilo is much quieter at the dock. While having a rounded steam Motopanfilo has an integrated swim platform with retractable canopy over the beach club. Another striking feature is the observation area or crow’s nest above the sundeck where you can enjoy 360 degrees views.An interior is another example of creativity: while making the interior Lazzarini Pickering took inspiration from a large whale where the bulkheads look as large ribs of a large marine mammal. Elsewhere, a new Motopanfilo is everything you can expect of a modern Benetti: 5 cabins for owners and their guests, lower deck with 4 staterooms, main deck with a roomy saloon, master suite, galley, upper deck with an aft terrace and a sky lounge and an outdoor pool on a foredeck, then a sundeck protected by the hardtop with stairs to the observation deck, tender garage for 5,05 m tender and a jet ski.
With the longest waterline in 120 ft class, a new 37m Benetti tops 18 knots of a max speed and cruises at 14 knots of economic speed.
